How to make paper snowflakes decorations?
All these years , I never thought I must make paper snowflakes and share the tutorial on my blog because I found them to be too simple & cliche. Nevertheless, this year, I was short of time to set up my home for a small Christmas get together and decided to make paper snowflakes. And oh boy how wrong I was about it being easy! I tried innumerable times but I ended up with patterns that resembled cobwebs and I was totally frustrated. I had to check into multiple youtube channels and blogs to finally crack the secret code to making them and voila I made a couple of them in no time ???? So here is the secret recipe ????
Start out with thin papers like normal 70gsm printing papers. You need to fold them and cut through them so make sure its large enough and also thin enough. Start by cutting it out into square shape. Fold it into a triangle and then fold the triangle again into a smaller one.
Now is the part where you thank me for this idea ???? Fold the triangle again to make three equal parts. Do this by bringing in both the edges and adjusting such that the match into a single small triangle. Hope it's clear from the below picture.
Once you get the shape, chop out the two tails and make a triangle.
